It is true that some leaders were deliberately forgotten and few leaders were highlighted in the last 50 years. Who is responsible for it? None but congress party, so no crying over spilled milk. Desperation to get names of gandhi and nehru is so much that they made fool the people all over India. I doubt wether Nehru would have approved of this. Everywhere nehru, Indira, rajeev, thats all.Sometimes Gandhi name also cropped up in every schemes, so so i do not understand why the congress party shud cry over. The funniest part is some script writers like Rangarajan, sheela Bhat who has no relevence in the modern opinion speaks about Nehru and gandhi. Where were they when they shud hvae spoken about other leaders. so many of them is totally forgotten. The mdeia has become so corrupt and one sided that it is difficult to believe them.
History is meant to know and learn from mistakes done in the past, somehow we have not learnt, we are still fighting politically on the basis of caste, religion, region and language. See all local politicians and congress too to keep their seat intact. Spreading hate everywhere. Political parties are equally responsible but major responsibility is of SC and EC, who keep mum on such issues, show their ego quite often. Could not eradicate corruption even from judicial system from bottom to top in last 67 years.

Pathetic®retful that even History of factstoo are being manipulated by parties in power to suit their agenda.None should manipulate the Historical facts either in school text books( which wld be remembered by students till end of their lives) and by film fraternity( as 80% uneducated believe it to be true history,as they can't understand films mention that it doesn't reflect true historical facts but fiction).That's why writers& film producers should avoid commercialising history in national interest

Film producers may produce films based on History but should not use the same names in the films( public not to mistakeas Real history).some Hindi films were produced on the basis of Shakespeare famous novels/dramas using different titles& screen play to suitiIndian context and were big hits.Also any Govt should endeavor to present true historical facts in authoritative school text books and gifts historical archives.Also Historical facts of freedom martyrs/those sacrificed for a good cause should never be distorted by the authorities in power,as it may cause havoc that cannot be undone ,for example Madras then CM CR Rajagopalachary giving a wrong report about theFast unto Death taken by Sri potti sreeramulu even after it entered 50 the day for Creation of Andhra State to PM Mr.Nehru that led to the death of a freedom fighter first time in history of India and both PM& CM,stalwarts of Indian history responsible for avoidable death .
