Suspension of 5 MLAs
by Mohan Ranganathan on Nov 12, 2014 09:21 PM  | Hide replies

Feel like laughing the BJP stand. Till they captured power they also have indulged in these type of behaviors in parliament and assemblies many a time. Now having captured the power they want to kill the opposition. They are proving themselves that they are worse than congress. Having succeeded in getting their speaker nominee elected unopposed(Congres and sena withdrew their candidates) instead of showing up majority through ballot t ey went for voice vote thereby killing democratic principles.Shamful act by BJP. If they are confident of support from NCP why were they worried over a ballot vote. Now having passed the first test they will go to any extent to buy MLA of SENA Congress, NCP to consolidate their position.Having secured a thumping victories in other parts these type of behavior reflects the true color of BJP. By banning the 5 MLAs for 2 years they are trying to disqualify them and thereby denying the elected representatives to function.

Real reason for this : SS 63, Cong 43 , NCP 41 becomes 147 and that is why BJP suspended 5 MLA to get down numbers to 142 now . all name of democracy..Nothing happened to governer, its normal protest. ..wat is expected when ruling party cheating and doing tamasha of democracy in day broad light.

Do a little soulsearch of Congress history before commenting, the Congress has performed worst than this!! No other reason that it got decimated to extreme southern corner of India that too thinnest difference of one MLA, sure to lose it in next election !!
