The Myanmar realignment is nothing but paving the way for a future acquisition of the territory under the Indian Union as a consortium of states like the other SAARC nations. Myanmar or Burma has an area of 226 thousand (226, 227 to be exact) square miles and a meager population of about 51.5-52.0 million, and the country is a prime target for amalgamation or merger into the Indian Union.

Dr. Man Mohan Singh had to play a survival game with the Nehru dynasty. What a nation and what class of politicians! A Cambridge Masters and and Oxford doctorate with great respectability in international circles is being asked by Sonia and Rahul Gandhi to step down from politics before the elections. Dr. Singh is superior in stature to the Presidents of United States and Prime Ministers of Britain, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The Congress part leadership has no conscience.
