Re: So many Indian origins are winning US elections

No, not Modi wave but the Mexican Wave!
Immigration was a big issue in this election!
If Democrats had retained control of the Senate (that is the American Rajya Sabha) and regained control of the House of Representatives (that is the American Lok Sabha), legalization of America's illegal Bangladeshi or Mexican immigrants would have become a reality!
So it was the Mexican wave that helped Republicans (American B J P) defeat Democrats (American Congress Party)!

Why are you so excited?
She is the governor of South Carolina, a state where an average "br0wn" Indian would be conveniently mistaken for a Muslin tear-err-wrist by the largely inbred local population!
You m0r0n5 need to dial down your over-the-top enthusiasm when it comes to Indians "making it" in the US!
Though Indian population is just around 30 lacs, yet many indian politicians won. It shows that the US citizens are mature and dont think on caste, religion, nationality

You M0r0n,
Most of these "H1ndu5" are married to Chr15ta1n5 or have converted to the religion long ago to prepare to run for public office as "acceptable candidates"!
USA was, is and always will be a Chr15t1an country!
Congrats to the winners. However, NRIs left India for their self-interests, for the future of their children and earn dollars. If they are bothered about India, they would not have left. What they have only some emotional attachments to India. It hardly matters for India how many NRIs really win.
