Kidnapped Sailors
by b g on Nov 05, 2014 09:16 PM

Well it is nice to see that the government is trying to bring back the kidnapped sailors. While this is a good effort on the part of the government it is also required by the government to prevent these kidnaps and ransom requests. When it is well known that the route taken by the pirates are demarked and best avoided then it would be wise for the Indian ships to avoid these routs. On the other hand there are several fishermen, and other sailors captured by countries like Iran. The government needs to open its eyes to the other missing Indians as well.

no words can describe the feelings of those who reunited with their families and no words can say thanks to all those who supported the families in their hour of need.
May your tribe increase.

by SreenivasaRao Ketepalle on Nov 05, 2014 05:16 PM

Deepak Shetty has done a wonderful job in saving the lives of the families of survivors. He deserves kudos and thanks of the country. Such kind-hearted men need to be given bigger roles to enhance the government's image.

We need more Deepak Shettys in our administration
by Rajesh Chheda on Nov 05, 2014 05:02 PM

Administration officers are a law on to themselves. For them Government machinery works like a fast leopard to get results whereas politicians in power get nearly equal treatment.
It is common man who suffers delays even in simple work to be done from govt.
Most worst off are tax payers who are treated as if they are theives whereas non-tax payers face no harassment though they make more money selling items like vada pav, samosas, sandwiches and vegetables and fish and poultry.

Piracy is as old as the sea !
by Cedric Vaz on Nov 05, 2014 02:28 PM

Piracy (and prostitution) are both the world's oldest professions. One can only control them during their various phases of highs and lows but they can never be rooted out for good .......!
