As a part of strengthening the Indo-US relationship, this diplomat might invite Modi to visit USA. I hope Modi doesn't succumb to pressure and go there. Even though I dont appreciate the policies of Chairman Mao of China, I respect one trait of his. In his long tenure as the top honcho of his country, he rarely went out of his country.
The then most powerful people- Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger had to go to Mao's place to meet with him.
I wish Modi also emulate this quality of Mao. At the most , he can visit the SAARC nations or ASEAN nations or other countries in Africa .....but never visit the so called Western nations.
