How much amendement or changes made in Government or bureaucracy, which looks like a Compact cabinet, but people need power, water, safety, food, security in times of national disaster and employment. Focus on people's basic needs prior attention.

Modi sarcar abolishes GoMs EGoMs

There was nothing wrong with the GoMs,EGoMs.All that Modi will be doing is to replace these with some other organisations. That said the presence of GoMs & EGoMs was a convenient way of passing the buck for the Ministries and escape accountability

Make up your mind, will you? You start by saying that there was nothing wrong with the GOMs and EGOMs. The next sentence you add that the GOMs and EGOMs were a convenient way to pass the buck and escape responsibility.

So what was it? Nothing wrong or a way to pass the buck and escape accountability.

Or in your book there is nothing wrong with passing the buck and escaping accountability.

Decentralization good
by Cheran on May 31, 2014 07:29 PM

Absolutely good but has to be subjective accountability with our loose ends to escape to deliberate defaulters.Delayed decisions damages the economy as a saying in the management goes "Quick decisions with reasonable errors are better than decisions done later". A K Antony was clean and good, placing AKA at top explicitly talks about the intention of his bosses. However he was hadnicaped by two (1) His inherent overcautious which delayed eventual decision and (2) coalition partners as stumble block.

I think one of the best decisions taken to speed up decision making process.Delays will result in over run of project cost and out honourable PM realises that.
