Most elections in Tamil Nadu are one sided. One party gets all the seats, no surprise there. Nobody should write off the DMK. There is a history of the voters electing a different parties than that in power.

Amma must be careful
by Varadarajan Ravindran on May 21, 2014 08:26 AM

If Amma makes emotional anti-Modi statements her days in politics will be numbered. This is a fact that we must accept as reality -- "Do not challenge the will of the people."

If Ms. Mayawati had got some few seats, Ofcourse, in single digit, then we could have had the political Jugalbandhi of 3Ms(Famous US Co.) in 16th. Loksabaha.

ADMK excellent performance
by s kumar on May 20, 2014 10:15 AM

TN has immensely benefitted from regional parties and much more developed despite central neglect. She was right in going alone. Just because BJP got majority on its does not mean belittling such superb performance( 37 out of 39) and also ADMK has performed very well in TN since its assembly election victory. Mainstream parties have done nothing for TN therefore no need to choose them.
