Does it really matter ? And why should Rediff the champion of secularists and Sheela the champion of champions among the leading secularists be bothered about it?

Caste politics!
by Srinivasan Iyer on May 13, 2014 09:54 AM  | Hide replies

This article is quite clear that the declaration of the Modh Ghanchi community as OBC was done in 2001 by the NDA Govt under Shri Vajpayee. This was probably done to counter the high caste of the Patels and the KHAM combination. But what is pertinent is that while the BJP allege that other parties are using the caste/religion factor as vote bank politics, they have unabashedly used this OBC factor as a vote bank in UP and Bihar played astutely by Modi's chela, Amit Shah.
But of course you have a very clever lawyer like Jaitley who can argue on what is convenient!

Sorry son , you have got it wrong,it was done 20 years ago. And so what there are many poor communities in our country, so when you can do it for the minorities, you can do it to poor communities too. Wake up guy. If people like you only critise, no wonder we are so divided.

Modi

He is the only person in BJP who could and did pay back Congress, SP and BSP in their own coins. He said in his own language " you polarize, I polarise a hundred times more, lets see whose tricks work" I am certain he has used polarization just to reach a position where no more polarization will be required. If not in 2014, where he may have to be content with a barely stable majority, he sure will prove himself in next five years to win a super majority and wipe out all polarization so that we forget which religion, caste or race we belong to and remember that we are Indians

Opponent can do DNA test or any other tests whether Modi is OBC, secular/communal etc. etc. They can do it also in foreign countries particularly the countries that are against India as they may get their desired reports from them. They can spend their life time on these researches. The matter is WE JUST DO NOT BOTHER THAT.

First get into your heads there should be no minority, everybody should be treated as an equal. It's very sad, when minorities ,say they are targeted. Because in our country it is the poor who are targeted forget about their religion. The rich always get away. This is great divide the rich and the poor.
