by Atul Jahagirdar on Jun 04, 2014 10:49 AM

Expenses are definitely increasing. The truth is rates of Household products / consumer products / products which has vital role play in day-to-day life life like grains, vegetables, Milk, Petroleum products, Gas, Electricity etc. once rises then its does not decrease at any cost, so even the Govt. if claims that it will bring down the cost of above products may not be successful in doing so, at the most, prices may freeze but will not decrease, these poor politicians does not face any consequences related to day-to-day activities.

price rise gift of UPA
by kieran dsouza on Jun 03, 2014 09:32 PM

they effected price rise in almost all utilities and consumables to squeeze us beyond taxation even. whether it is LPG, electricity, housing, transportation charges, food items, these price rises were effected to increase wealth of politicians like anything as well as their slaves in bureaucracy and public sector. they have protected themselves extremely well with pay commissions and salary bills enacted in parliament but have shown no mercy to common people on whose name they begged for votes

They are only rising everywhere
by Bitsavan on Jun 03, 2014 04:59 PM

It is puzzling to find from this NSSO survey that household expenses per person are infact falling in some regions. This might be due to people holding back their consumption unable to bear the burden of iniquitious price rise. For almost a decade, India is confronted with double digit inflation which is eroding the purchasing power and savings of the common man. The Government's fiscal profligacy and the RBI's monetary excesses committed in their obsession for growth have damaged the economy irretriveably. Moreover, commodity boom witnessed throughout the Globe also played havoc with price management in India. Allowing Online trading of essential commodities only compounded this problem and imposed misery on the people. No wonder, common people are bearing the brunt today unable to run a decent life.

why people have to buy the data from Indian Government?
by kabir on Jun 03, 2014 04:52 PM

Why all the statistical data collected by the government with tax money is again sold by the government through private parties? Why it is not available for free so people could build apps and see how the real progress is happening than believing on some news rants paid by political parties?
