It is so hilarious that Modi is interested to increase the standard of education in India. Gujarat government is exploiting primary teachers in big way and is only paying a fix salary of rs.5300 per month for five years to government primary teachers. Gujarat ranks 25th in education in all states of India, and a survey has proved that 45% students of class 7th cannot do multiplication and division and more than 40% students cannot read a word in english

Come out of Maths and English subjects, there are several other subjects like Civis and Economics which should be made primary subjects across India.

Agree with you Kiran.This sick mentality to consider English & Maths as only education has created such imbalance in our society.We see shortage of resources in civic subjects & too many run of mill engineers who are working as call center agents or in BPO in South.
they seem to be well motivated. it is great that the wife is already active in public service. however, hema malini or shatrugan sinha do not strike me they have stomach for public service away from camera. but that's just the first impression.
