Good intentions but wrong choice
by Srinivasan Iyer on Mar 26, 2014 10:51 AM

The deification of Modi will go against the party. It has been proven that a one man sow in a democratic Govt cannot translate to effective policy. I would have appreciaetd Mr Simha's reason for joining the BJP based on poli9cies which till today are unclear and not spelt out. Mere Gujarat model of development cannot hold any promise for the rest of the country. If his objective was to fight corruption, then in Karnataka, the BJP Govt's performance and corruption is a record no other State has equaled. I wish intelligent journalists give stronger reasons for their actions.

SLAVERY HAS BEEN ABOLISHED BUT SLAVE MENTALITY EXISTS WHY?
by rohan on Mar 24, 2014 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

But every small and big leadersof all political other political parties blabber NAMO NAMO day in and day out on TV and media. They have no other job given. Henceforth, leaders who takes Modi's name in any forum excessively must be marked as having slave mentality appeasing their masters.

by vijaykumar patil on Mar 24, 2014 09:36 AM  | Hide replies

Me and my friends funded and campained for AAP in Delhi election, but because of Kreji's and AAP personal goals, they have cheated us. AAP and Kejri r congrs agents. AAP, NCP, SP, CPI, CPM, RJD, JDU, JDS and others are congrs agents r dangerous (which make india week and hollow). Wake up Indians (muslm, hind, christn, jin, Sikh and othrs), vote for MODI and save India.

Modi Wave ??
by B DAS on Mar 23, 2014 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

Modi wave is visible only on TV and news papers. On ground it is curiosity about the new player in National politics. Crores of money is being spent to build up Brand Modi at the cost of the party. Today BJP the party has become subservient to on man Modi which is dangerous not only for the party but also for the country. the total surrender by the party to Modi's whims may make him megalomaniac for which country may have to pay a heavy price. Hope some kind of soul searching is done by the party and encourage collective leadership in place of one man show and at the same time saner yet popular and effective leaders like Sushma Swaraj,Shivraj Singh Chauhan are encouraged to maintain some kind of balance in the party.

MODI IS A TRULY NATIONLIST LEADER AND A TRUE SUPPORTER OF MINORITIES AND WEEKER SECTIONS OF SOCIETY. ON THE OTHER HAND CONG IS PSEDEU SECULAR AND HAS ALWAYS EXPOLITED MINORITES BY PLAYING ONE AGAINST THE OTHER. WHILE HARPING ON 2002 GUJRAT RIOTS CONG CONVENIENTLY FORGETS 1984 SIKH GENOCIDE PROPAGATED BY ITS LEADERS. THE CORRUPT CONG AND INCOMPETENT THIRD FRONT PARTIES HAVE CREATED A 'MODI FOBIA' IN THE MINDS OF PEOPLE. THAT IS WHY YOU ARE AFRAID OF HIM.

I agree with B.DAs. The people of India, particularly the minorities and weaker sections of society, still support only the Congress Party under the leadership of Mdm Sonia Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh, Mr Rahul Gandhi and Ms Priyanka Gandhi.

The urban middle-classes are more committed to Mr Arvind Kejriwal.

Mr Modi is an empty gas balloon!

Vajpayee Wave
by Rakesh Jha on Mar 23, 2014 03:29 PM

Has anyone noticed that Vajpayee wave in 2004 was much bigger than Vajpayee wave in 1999. And everyone knows the result :)
