Dump this guy's remembrance! Only for this guy our Nation is STILL counted amongst the Third World! HE was solely responsible for the disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Remove his name which 'adorns' our numerous institutions, roads and areas. Our History MUST NOT have a place for such crooks.
We were forced to war only because of lack of decision making of Nehru. We lost our thousands of army men. We lost some of our boundary because of him. Kashmir problem is also live because of Nehru.
must be the only country in the world which exalts and celebrates its leaders who have brought nothing but loss, humiliation and poverty to its people. The inumerable memetos, buildings, roads in the name of the leaders who brought us nothing but humiliation and loss is unbelievable

and shamed and humiliated leaders who strengthened and rescued India from financial ruin, like Mr. Narasimha Rao
China is a peace loving country. It never attacked any nation. After Japanese torture ,it was expansionist Nehru post independence who tried a foolish_adventure and provoked them.
Tibet was essentially a part of China since the days of Ming_dynasty.But this Dalai_Lama did chamcha_giri of british and gifted part of it to British Kingdom.
Indian leaders are foxes_and_looters,they cannot develop properly the land which belong to them.Even Bangladesh beheads_our jawans or Pakistan kills_our soldiers. We do not have toilets_people are shitting_in the rail_tracking and spitting pan_in the narrow_crowded stinking_road.When somebody gets down from the flight, the first smell one gets in India is the smell of the_shit.Tibet is developing very fast in last 20 years under Chinese_kingdom.
Chinese people are peace loving,we should reciprocate and focus on our development. We should take help of their cheap_technology to develop our infrastructure fast.

The issue is not the Chinese people on an individual basis. The problem is the power drunk, expansionistic, militaristic Chinese state and ideology. The forward policy is the one good thing Nehru did in that war, the tragedy is that the soldiers were under equipped and unprepared.

Tibet had become independent of Chinese overlordship, and it had a real chance to become democratic and pluralistic with India's close association. That was all horribly damaged by China's brutal invasion and Nehru's bungling.
There are some writers on this forum who claim that Nehru was instrumental in the death of Bose. That is not true. The diary of the World War Two Prime Minister of Imperial Japan, General Tojo, was made public by his wife, (as per his request), many years after he was hanged in 1948 for war crimes. It was reported in several Japanese newspapers that in his diary, General Tojo had written that India was to be conquered by Japan with the assistance of Bose and the Indian National army, and after this was accomplished, Bose was to be executed. This information did not speak well for Bose, and was therefore suppressed by the Government of India as well as the Indian media. The sum of it all was that Bose backed the wrong horses, and had to pay dearly for his folly.
Nehru would never dare to attack china. But chinese had hatred towards india,as when it annexed Tibet, india was protesting against it and Dalailama was given asylum ,defying chinese .No one with a sound mind would have dared to fight with a very strong neighbour and that too with out moded arms and ammunition left over by the British and neville's stories are unbelievable.

Maxwell is either anti-India or a passionate Sinophile. He's against Tibetan independence and democracy in Tibet. Indians have a long and peaceful association with Tibet going back 1200 years. For China, it's all about empire, territory, control, domination and subjugation.

The Chinese did not hate India. They just wanted India to return their territories which the British had arbitrarily grabbed and put in the British Indian Empire. Nehru trusted China too much with the misleading advice he got from that leftist V.K. Krishna Menon.

It's not about treaties, boundaries or empires, ultimately. It's about people and democracy, freedom and liberty. India believes in it, as do most Tibetans. China doesn't. This is the crux of the matter.
why drag something which happened 50 years back? if we want to forget 2002, 1984 etc, then we should forget 1962 as well. what is important is whether we are learning lessons or not? most of the citizens believe the nehru clan has not learnt a lesson where as they believe namo has learnt it. more over, nehru is a freedom fighter who has grown up learning non violent ways to tackle a problem. thatst he reason he was half hearted when the 1962 war broke out. poor chap, let his soul rest in peace.

We need to learn from history. The state of affairs has not improved much. If it was Nehru who provoked Chinese then, it is China that could be tempted now due lack of defence-preparedness in the last 10 years, courtesy defence minister as reported in news columns.

Good, and also request to people to forget the Nehru corruption- 400 Jeeps order to England but only 200 jeeps had come to India.
