For Khemka everyone is wrong and corrupt, he could not work with anyone as such always everyone rejected him, like Kejri his thinking is of a dictator not democrat. Such people must be discarded in politics.

The two CAGs
by Vishvaksenah E on Mar 12, 2014 10:34 AM  | Hide replies

CAG meant Comptroller and Auditor General.

I know came to know of the existence of such an institution only after Sri Vinod Rai beacame the CAG. I personally feel that but for him, the nation would not have know about the CWG scam, Coalgate scam , spectrum scan and other scams.
Kudos to this CAG.

CAG - Citizens for Accountable Governance. I wish it all the best and hope that they become successful in their task.

I hv personally seen the working of many CAG assignments. They reach in the train and first thing they ask is a Bathroom kit for all the team members from the auditee. Than they enquire about the best resturant around. The auditee pays the stay and food although these people get TA n DA for the stay. Than they enquire about the tourist places nearby and invariably visit those on auditees expenses. Then they work for half of the assigned day and take a stay certificate for the full schedule. If investigated it shall be found that all the return ticket of the team would be paid by the auditee.

Why is Montek Montek questioning CAG's jurisdiction???????

Everyone should know that it is the office of Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) in Indian republic [Article 148-151, the Constitution of India, 1949] unlike Auditor General in British India under the Government of India Act, 1935. People who are criticizing the office of the C&AG for its current audit report on coal blocks allocations must be acknowledged with the objectivity of the CAG being as a comptroller of Consolidated as well as Contingency Fund of India. So the C&AG for the credibility of 152 years old institution, being as the guardian of public purse, has the full constitutional right to ensure the lawful transactions in accordance with the public policies bearing public accountability on governments. The office of the C&AG is serving as an independent, competent and credible audit institution and now the Supreme Court appreciate it because it is the public accountability and probity which is essential for rooting out corruption.

Modi to become PM
by patil hc on Mar 12, 2014 10:23 AM  | Hide replies

Whatever discission i have seen, all are correct in one or the other way.It is very difficult to emerge out from local parties like dmk, aidmk, cpm, ncp,sp,bsp, tmc,oh many are there who are having regional grip.Even though Vajapeyee'g done ever best in the indian democracy amid the ban of america, fight with pakistan. But in the very next election people defeated NDA.
In NDA time Vajapeyee'g extended indias bilateral cooperation with pakistan by travelling in bus and advani exporting huge quantity of sugar, medicine, garments in subsidary
rate.Bjp will do some gimmick of hindutva to get votes. But they never neglected any one.Minorities only brainwashed and tid up in gully politics by congress. They cant understand the broad view of BJP.This is how india is suffering.

BJP do not have any view leaveaside broad view. You are talking about vajpayee's governance. But please don't ignore the fact that dreams of people were shattered once they governed the country. BJP was ousted from power as corruption and unemployment was at its peak. It was not a mere anti incumbency factor that they were rejected for next two terms. whereas congress which has ruled the nation for maximum period was chosen over them for two continous terms.

How many of the older generation know preamble of constitution?

The only change has been in the perspective of the voter. Todays voter has seen the charade of politicians and is ruthless about selecting only those who will benefit him. Whereas the previous generations voted for their loyalty to a leader or a cause or a Caste.

Stability can be provided only by congress or BJP, congress is at the back foot, BJP is the only answer. Youths were favouring earlier Kejri, now they are clear in their mind that Modi can only deliver their aspirations.

Issues like assassination of Gandhiji, Gujrat riots, secularism are outdated & carry no importance in the minds of young generation. They want to flourish. Congress & other parties are still concentrating on these outdated issues.subjects. Modi has caught has put up some vision to make the dreams of youth true & that is why he is the only hope for the youth.
