US has Global Interest. It tries to fit every relationship in its planned shecme of things and gets irritated if things does not fall in line. India with its numerous issues on local front is least bothered of what US has in Mind IT has seen lows during 1972 pak war it has seen sanctions. I agree with author if there is need for relationship it should be from both ends. If US expects India to favour it on any front given the monetory assistance and influence. India as A country at times was champion of third world would not budge to US interests unless it is just. Summing it all the current turbulence is not unexpected and they know that they have to live with it
