The state itself was divided basing on the expectation that TRS will merge and congress will get political gains. Remember what Digvijay Singh said. This is a betrayal to Andhra people.

The worst betrayal was by Andhras violating Gentlemen's Agreement, to merge with rich HYD State & loot. There was no Gentlemen's Agreement between TRS & Congress. Does any Andhra person know why Andhras demanded Separate Andhra State from Madras AND begged to merge with HYD within 3 yrs insulting their own Potti Sriramulu who sacrificed his life for Separate Andhra and not merger with HYD State. How come anyone blame Digvijay Singh? Had Andhras not merged with HYD or ruled with some sense of justice & honest Adm, there would have been no demand for bifurcation of AP now. They could have turned all the 3 Regions of AP into Gold.
I think Congress wanted to cash the4 Telagana Bill okayed ,but the TRS is intelligent in turning down the offer.In fact he can align with other Andhra parties better .Good decision.
