Shankracharya ji, Sai Ram Can you please tell us what have you done in last 15 years so that hindus can trust you. Have you ever resisted cow sloughter,casteism,drugs.Please don't interfere in personal affairs of a individual.

This 'personal affair' - is nontenable in a society! I peep into neighbour's wife and allure her! Someone protests! I say its my 'perssonal affair'! its a crude example but how is that? There has to be regulations in society and DHARMACHARYAS ARE BEINNG QUESTIONED ! ITS DUE TO 190 YEARS OF BRITISH AND THEN 67 YEAR'S OF BRITISH MINDED RULERS!

VedAnta says that there is Brahman alone and any difference seen in this world is due to delusion. Kathopanishad says that any one who sees differences in this world goes from death to death. Mudgala Upanishad says that Brahman "became" what he was worshiped as. So, any form/name is only illusion as per Vedas. Why this hue and cry ??
I agree that Sai Baba was a saint who had great spiritual powers which changed the lives of many of his devotees and continue to do so. However, though Sai Baba is revered as a Saint by Indianss, he cannot be treated at par wiith the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh or Adi Shakti, Ma Durga or Hanuman. He was a saint bbut not God. No religion accepts a human being as God, even Hinduism says that Rama and Any way, these are matters of faith and should not be discussed or forced upon.

Misra.you will say ALL HINDUS SHUD BE SLAVES OF BRAHMINS ..LIKE U WHO CAME TO INDIA FROM KAZHAKSTA..UU FOReiGNER BRAHMINS ARE EXPLOITING INDIAN COMMON MAN FROM 2000 YEARS.... About 70% of indians worship SAII BABA JI AS DIVINE...SO NO BODY CARES FOR YOUR FAKE STORIES ..
Though I rever Sai Baba as a pious saint, who cared for the poor as well as all those who came to him for solace, I agree with Sankaracharya that Sai Baba should not be worshipped as God. He was a saint who has magical saintly qualities, and people have benefitted from his powers, but that does not mean he can be treated as God at par with the Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, or their incarnations like Krishna, Rama, Parashurama, Hanuman or Ma Durga and Her various Roopas. Above all, these are matter of faith which should not be discussed publicly. They are very personal and private matters.

He is the mentor of Digvijay and this Nasty Swaroopanand is the same person who slapped a reporter when asked about NAMO becoming PM. How can a person who cant control his anger and a person who slaps others be Sankaracharya. He is fake
No body should be given authority to dictate relegion and sect.Its individuals choice and belief.Hindus believe in Saleem Chishtis durgah at Ajmer.No body should be differentiated when the matter of ASTHA comes.

absolutely right. it's d belief of individuals. so, the sankaracharya doesn't & shouldn't have any say on it.
India is a secular country with diversity, no one has right to spread hate, Shankracharyaji should only advise not to make Sai temple with the temples made for Hindu Lords.
I am no worshiper of Sai Baba. But, I find this statement to be against the basic philosophy of Hinduism. Its the absence of any such "protectors" and forcing any single set of opinions as THE religion, which made Hinduism survive through 1000s of years despite the onslaught and rule by outsiders.
