Poverty
by girija nandini on Jun 29, 2014 03:15 PM

Decades after decades the populist call " helping poor" has remained a major political plank. It is an insult for our country. In fact some thing is basically wrong.People should be given the opportunity to grow.Country & govt should chalk out some policies & implement them effectively so that every one becomes capable to earn handsomely. The populist schemes of donating free rice, money or other gifts are futile exercise. There must be sincere & practical efforts like - good education programme, skill development training, enhanced eployment opportunities, robust economic & industrial growth, transparent public distribution system, transparent recruitment system, minimum support price for all corps, strong decision on GST,availability & adequate distribution of high yielding variety of seeds etc.Strict actions must be initiated against economic offenders. Some how people should be encuraged to stand on their own legs, free distribution etc will never eradicate poverty.

Dull

Modi has some dull ministers and among them "DR" Harshvardhan undoubtedly occupies number one position. I have emphasized "Dr", as Harshrvardhan attaches an over-inflated importance to being being a doctor. He always refers to himself as being "doctor", so much so that even during his oath he refereed to himself as " I doctor Harshavardan". That is proof enough that man is imbecile of the highest order, and since then his various utterings have provided proof that that the man is a fruitcake.

I'm watching carefully strict decisions that Modi government plans to take in the coming months. If you're incapable of managing economic resources of the country and benefitting common mass then I'm sorry to take penal actions against Prime minister Narendra modi and his cabinet ministers. You'll have to show your administrative capabilities while in the government otherwise you'll be out permanently.

good to the poor
by Deshbhakt Indian on Jun 29, 2014 02:54 PM

Perhaps the definition of poor has been made to change so as to exclude those who are actually affected by the price hikes legacy as inherited from UPA and ably continued thereafter to administer the bitter pill into the already affected pple. behind the lame excuse of economic reforms. Now the changed definition of poor perhaps includes the pple like Ambanies and all those industrialists as supported by the CII or Ficci who have made huge wealth due to anti masses policies of UPA . Because the ordinary household has now only one option to plunge into the darkness of hunger, poverty and illiteracy, so further price hikes can never benefit them..but the further price hikes can always do good to the business hawks of this country which once boasted to be a welfare state prior to the undeclared laissez faire policy of UPA or MMS.
