It is very distressing to see the hapless law abiding citizens who have fallen prey to the corrupt political system in our country pleading for mercy before BMC officials.Why the Maharashtra Govt so shameless?
The battered residents of Campa Cola should now demand from the CM to put all of them in the Multi stroyed Adrash Housing Society till their Buildings are redeveloped.
ITS CLEAR....THE CONSTRUCTION IS ILLEGAL AS PER BMC..CAN ANYONE TELL WHO IN FIRST PLACE ALLOWED THE CONSTRUCTIO TO TAKE PLACE..ITS THE BMC ,WHO GAVE THEM OCCUPANCY CERTIFICATES..ITS THE BMC,WHO GAVE NOC FOR POWER,WATER SUPPLY..ITS THE GOVT..SO ITS VERY CLER THAT THE LOCAL SELF BODY GOVT & THE STATE GOVT OFFICAILS ACCEPTED BRIBES & ALLOWED ALL THIS ILLEGAL THING TO HAPPEN.WHY SHOULD THE RESIDENTS BE BLAMED?CATCH HOLD OF THE EX BMC OFFICIALS ,EX STATE GOVT OFFICIALS WHO ALLOWED THIS TO TAKE PLACE.PROSECUTE THEM..HAS ANY POLITICAL PARTY GOT THE GUTS TO DO THIS??NONE OF THEM HAVE IT,COZ THEY HAVE ALL ENJOYED WITH THE BRIBE THEY GOT.THE BIGGETS JOKE IS OUR LAW,IT HAS JUST FINE THE BUILDRES SOME FEW LAKH RUPEES,WHEN THEY EARNED IN CRORES & CREATED THIS BLUNDER WHICH IS AFFECTING HUNDREDS OF LIFE...CAN THE BJP GOVT SPEAK UP & AMMEND THE LAW & PUNISH THE GUILTY?NO WAY,,, EVEN THEY ARE SPINELESS
This is a very sensitive issue. Well I am all for following the laws of the land and rules , I think from humanitarian perspective we need to be considerate.
The best way is to bring the builder and some BMC officials who sanctioned it to task , compensate these residents elsewhere and then take action.
This is scary because .. they are living there from 30 years (heard from news chanals :( ).. by now there home loan finished .. everything is over ..... they got all the connections .. and paid municipal taxes .... if we buy any flat .. down the line 30 years .. who knows .. whether its legal or illegal :(
