Free advice!!
by varghese on Jun 22, 2014 05:49 PM  | Hide replies

Dear sir we all value ur life..hence we appeal to you to leave this issue. The Nation and its people deserve the Govt they elect..yes even if these Nuclear plants leak and kill like the Bhopal tragedy or chernobyl ..its okay dude..since the will of the majority has prevailed...

India is power starved and india needs energy..the west or anyone will not give loans for making cheap sustainable energy but are ready to commission hyper costly projects for their profits...if Indians cannot see through these crafty deals which endanger the land and its people then my advice is leave them to their own..Ur a good man my regards to ur awareness programs but sadly the land doesnt need you..please live safe..

Please arrest and put behind bar all NGO's who are agents of foreign countries with nefarious designs in mind, but leave space for good NGO's as everything can not be done by government.

without power how can there be development?
by Nandakumar Chandran on Jun 22, 2014 05:38 PM  | Hide replies

without adequate power how can a factory operate to its full potential? if a factory does not operate, how can people have jobs or make money to earn a living? so why is udayakumar against nuclear power when we have so few alternatives for generating power?

btw udaya kumar seems to have shifted his goalposts. earlier he said that he was protesting because fisherman families were getting affected. in this interview I don't see any mention of that, but rather more generic arguments about environment protection etc. something doesn't ring right here.

Nuclear power is expensive but gives clean energy.

Model of Chandra Babu Naidu to tap solar power by any person having 100 sqaure foot space and putting into the national grid is most suitable for India.

Country will get abundant clean power, earn more carbon points and people will get source of additional income.

Think out of box like Naidu to solve power problem.

Naidu has planned to involve people, extend subsidy in purchasing equipment to generate 10,000 Mega Watt power in three monthe. Even if he acieves 5% of this in three months, it will be a big achievement.

So do not go for nuclear power plant as better alternatives are emerging.

Right from day 1 it was clear who were his paymasters. The worst part of the whole issue is the support the so called progressive religion provided him. So the products of videshi origin proved where their loyalties lie and it was disappointing to see

France generates 70% of its power using nuclear energy
by Raghavendra Ravi on Jun 22, 2014 05:18 PM

How are we supposed to get power, if we cannot have nuclear reactors ?? Is it not harming environment when we burn coal?? What is he talking about?/ This is just a misguided "religious" group trying to destroy the ONLY thing MMS did right!!

National Priority

Mr. Udhaykumar, you having done a doctorate that too in political science and claiming high principles in social imbalance, needs to be sincere than falling prey to hypocritic attitude. You are expected to follow order priority, national, provincial, regioanl, city/town, family/home for the very existence of individual. Can any one imagine to exist (endure) in any other order? If you resist nuclear power, do you have any alternative ..Don't talk about solar, wind and all sort of non conventionals at this time as would take era to provide a matured generation, if pushed with strong will now. The very reason power cut in Tamil Nadu got eased now itself is evidence that the state got it's share of 750 mW from kudankulam, apart from other sources the government arranged. There are many ways to address people's concern on safety with due sense and dedication. Do not misguide poor people, they are hardorking fishermen of good nature. do not destory their lives. There are many other means to gain popularity, leave them to their way to flourish their lives which they can do if none meddles with.

It is not Congress or BJP and no politics, should not give so much coverage for a person who is working against the nation for personal interest and gains, these people should be monitored more vigilantly and punished if guilty. They create trouble for every project proposed by the Government, He also joined AAP to get more milage.
