yore deserves much respect. All were exploiters of commoners in some way, in varying degrees. In effect, all of them became rulers chiefly because they were leaders of big violent gangs.
Both Aurangzeb and Shivaji (and also the British) were such violent gang leaders who looted and killed commoners.
