Reading the speech one is comforted that the electorate had done the right thing by electing a statesman to lead the nation.If he had raised hopes earlier during the electioneering he ha confirmed it by this speech. The politician in him surfaced when he turned the tables on Mallikarjun Kharge, whose followers thumped their desks when Kharge quoted Mahabharata but had to hang their head when the barb came from Modi. We are in for a period of sustained growth stalled in the past by the policy paralysis of the UPA.We are also in for lively debate in the LS even though opposition is badly outnumbered
The Election verdic 2014 is a clear mandate for change in the ways the nation is being administered mired in corruption, sleaze, crony capitalism, Scams, Price rise, Inflation, Property prices, Black Money, etc and what not. Therefore, the PM must not dilute this mandate for change by trying to go all out to co-opt the oppn under the grab of trying to evolve the elusive concensus on major intitatives, becoz he and his party must be constantly aware that this is not essential, as the mandate in LS is 282 seats in his party's favour.
The glitch can come only in RS, where he can levearge the quid- pro- Quo tactics on case to case basis with regional state satraps thru dangling of inducemnets, incentives and enticements. As he is claimed to be a person with innovation and out of the box soln approach, he should employ these deftly to out manouvre a section of opponents in RS.
Modi has all colors of a true statesman and a Leader. He is humble in win and he wants to take his opponents with him. He doesn't differentiate between "His" Vs "Theirs" when it comes to development of the country.
This is something that we Indians (born after 1947) are seeing for the first time. We must be addressed and called as Indians without anyone dividing us as Hindus/Muslims/Dalits/ backwards/Forwards etc. etc. We must be vigilant that forces who have been enjoying powers by dividing us on castes/creed/regionlism/languages should be defeated again and again.
I beleive in our PM for the development of our nation ... i fear his own team will cut his wings if he crosses their comfortzones which will lead to the disppointment of many ... may Allahta'la guide him towards the truth and protect him ... ameen ... take care...

i have not heard any. have you? on the other hand, we heard bookoos of it from _sick_u_lars, no? our pm is genuinely a gem of a man whose accomplishments are exceeded only by his humility.
