This is a simple incidence of negligence of the tour operator and over enthusiasm of students.
Same happened during Uttarkhand cloud bursts. Instead of Pilgrimage people take it as a picnic/excursion/tour at Kedarnath. to avoid heat in the plains..
Action must e taken against the Top Brass of the project, not just lowly placed operators. The Head of the Project is ultimately responsible for absence of warning system, which is statutory requirement.

Top to bottom every one among the irresponsible Govt employees must not only be sacked but mut be arrested and tried under POTA.

What is the CBI going to "investigate" in this incident?
How 24 youngsters supposedly of sound mind climbed down into a waterway about whose capacity and strength their "engineering" education should have made them aware of long before they got to this place?!
People will think of this as an insensitive comment but the fact of the matter is that many people need to understand that every aspect of life isn't an easy-breezy programming code copy-paste job to be approached with a devil-may-care cavalier attitude!

are yaar, do your duty, ie., to give signal is your duty, stick to that, "smart people" blah blah is not a topic to be discussed. if your son would have been dead then you would have known the pain.

O Maximum Morom then why were two engineers suspended ? it was because if not signal there was some technical failure which led to death of the innocents. You be in their shoes and think for a second.
