The DMK president Mr. K Karunathi's son Mr. K Alagiri was removed from party to give way for his brother, Mr.MK Stalin. Now, Mr. Alagiri is moving with DMDK chief Mr. Vijayakanth.

DMK ministers in the UPA were responsible for scams,but Mr K Alagiri's name never figured in one of them.
You have left out an important piece of information. Varun was the son of Sanjay Gandhi, the second son of Indira Gandhi. He had proved to be a 'go-getter' and was much more powerful than Rajiv Gandhi. Had it not been for the tragic accident in which he perished, Rahul would have been a non-entity.
