Dear Modiji, With deepest condolences, I would like to mention that you have lost one of your valuable colleagues in road accident. This happens to us(the common man) everyday and we loose friends and family members each time. It is high time that you pay attention to the traffic situation in the country. An appeal to the citizens of this country won't suffice, and would like to quote one Ad(" the road is full of i d i o t s). What is required is:

* Strict traffic law enforcement ( such that no one with a political connection or otherwise if let off). Our traffic police is too afraid of booking people with contacts.( What's the point, this eventually kills the very own politicians)
* Use technology:
- Let the traffic signals have connected cameras so that any violation is caught
* Enforcement for vehicle registration
- Bring in a system where the vehicle owners register their vehicles with their most updated address. Failure to do so will invite 6 months jail or hefty fines. This system is already there in developed countries.

This won't cost you much. It would certainly be less cheaper than the loan given to Mallya or the loan waiver programs that the governments implement time to time. Additionally, there will be an ROI in terms of fine paid by the people( it will be multifold of the investment made).

Most importantly, have a political will and don't spare anyone. If done is right spirit, you won't loose your friends,colleagues,family members
