Rather than beating everyone with a stick straight away and getting them to brush it deeper under the carpet, govt should first offer amnesty and a concessional tax on black money of 20% or something to make it white money. This period should last for 3 months.
After this time, any money recovered will be completely taken away and no money will be left with the owners.
Govt can also offer new infrastructure bonds, industrial zones or SEZ's which allow people to whiten this black money while also doing good for the country. While people bring money into these bonds or SEZ's, they cant take it out for at least 5 years. After 5 years they can sell or keep their equity.
Govt has to understand the mentality of the black money people. These people will not simply give up.
They need incentives to come out into the open!
And govt can create incentives for them while also doing good for the country.
What about the Black money which is stashed with in India which is the main cause of inflation, increased gold prices and real estate? The amount of black money which is circulating within India is atleast 10 times that of stashed abroad.
SIT should declare the names of Black Money account holders in foreign banks since when, how much money deposited and interests earn, should be clearly mentioned on TV and leading newspapers, such money should be seized by Indian government and such persons should be punished without (print this message) further delay after ascertaining clear picture. Let them be Corrupt Congress Leaders, Ministers or whosoever be punished stringently and publicly.
The key strokes of all the black money stashed out of India, or within India are with the bigwigs of the two Congressis - the Gandhi's, that is why, the whole coterie is endorsing the heading of the party by the Gandhi's. There is no other way for others in the party but to keep the Bhajan Mandali in tune headed by Sri. Dig Vijay Singh.
