Katju was a UPA stooge and now he has changed his track and trying to be close to the ruling BJP by making useless remarks about the judiciary, forgetting that the judiciary is the last resort that the people of this country to have faith in.

WE MUST DISCUSS WHAT BJP DID IN THE PAST IN KARNATAKA ALSO
by SIGAMONEY on Jul 22, 2014 01:43 PM

Earlier BJP government in Karnataka gave pressure to Advocate-General B.V. Acharya to resign his post and he resigned giving in to “pressure” from the State government to quit as Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) in the disproportionate assets case against TN C M Jayalalithaa.
He told The Hindu : “For some time, there has been terrible pressure on me to resign from the position of SPP, and I have been resisting it.”
Mr. Acharya said the government had asked him to resign as SPP, The State government was apparently under pressure from its central leadership [BJP] that I should quit from the position of SPP in the case against Ms. Jayalalithaa.”
Mr. Acharya did not name those in the government who had asked him to quit as SPP.
The central leadership of BJP had wanted Acharya to quit for sometime now. However, they did not wish to change him on their own and felt that it would be better if he resigned from the post. And hence they stepped up the pressure on him.
Acharya incidentally is the special prosecutor in the disproportionate assets case against Jayalalithaa which is being heard in Karnataka.
For the defence he has not been an easy prosecutor and has often considered being too upright regarding the law. He said the truth. You won't belive how much money Justice Balakrishnan made during his tenure. It is well known how his son (in laws) invested huge amount of money throughout Kerala in real estate. His respnse to allegations? "no comments". What ahppened to the probe into it? Nothing.

This is chief justice of India, highest authority in bringing justice to people of India, totally corrupt and without the moral authority to plead innocence.

Katju's timing!
by suresh kumar on Jul 22, 2014 07:34 AM

Katju made this revelation at a very appropriate time. Remember disapproval of Gopal Subramaniam and inclusion of U U Lalith..
