ST should have thought it earlier, when he apparently started nourishing hopes on objects from across the border. (And, just imagine, if he had won the UN Secretary General post!!) Now, through friends, who have somewhat same credentials, the person is requesting the media and public to 'leave me alone'.
People in public life have to accept this reality or they should leave public life. It is a terrible choice available to such people. Too bad.
But, the issue is a bit different here. If the man happened to be anyone else other than tharoor, the media would not be interested, but the man would have been in Jail by now. The sentiments that Kurshid is talking about now would not be an issue!!!

Dear Shri Khurshid, while we agree that such matters should not be pursued, what about your congress which tried to harrass Shri Modi over the so called snoopgate? No judge is ready to head the inquiry as its a dumb political game. So Shri Tharoor should be spared even if death is involved, but Shri Modi should be hounded? You think we, patriotic Indians, are fools? Protect a congress man, throw stones at opponents?
