Over a long time..pesticides do not work at all and organic and traditional knowledge farming has taken over...and in the case of antibiotics too traditional methods to treatment will replace them..

Mainstream medicine's eyes are wide shut.Even in the US, antibiotic resistance and every kind of infection, both viral and bacterial, are successfully treated with high dose vitamin C, especially as IV. Go to Riordan Clinic in Wichita, Kansas State.Go to several clinics in the border town of Tijuana in Mexico to see it done.Read Curing the Incurable by Dr. Thomas Levy, and another book by him, Primal Panacea, for scientific evidence. Vitamin C therapy is not approved by FDA but courageous physicians administer it braving the raised eyebrows of FDA.If I had waited for approved protocols to save my wife in a crisis of antibiotic resistance she would not be with me now. I got it done in Kerala, India.

Vit C does nothing to bacterial infections. If you dont give antibiotics the only other defense is the bodies own immunity. Vit C does inhibit Viral infections but then its not strong enough to qualify as a cure on its own. At best, in high doses Vit C and Zinc(another viral inhibiter) can reduce the viral infection to a point where the bodies natural defenses can overcome the infection. Newer class of medicines called antiviral's(eg. tamiflu) have stronger effect on Virus but they are in infancy of development.
