getting it right

Organized M0n0theistic religions have preached holy wars against non-believers (Crusades or Jehads) and have promoting expansion through proselytizing & conversion and religious & cultural imperialism. And its history of the political and economic oppression of people of different ethnicity or other religious beliefs is well documented by history. It is no surprise that those who profess their faith most loudly and intimidate others are the biggest threat to society. The tendency of such religious fanatics to turn human judgments into divine commands, makes monotheistic religion one of the most dangerous forces in the world.

Religion & Spirituality are two different things. And that is why Sanatan Dharma- often labelled as Hinduism is one of the most tolerant and liberal strands of faith.

When you look at organized religion of whatever sort and wherever you see organized religion and priesthoods and power eeven in the cults of Gurus & Godmen, you will find cruelty and tyranny and repression and the pressure to conform to its prescribed cultural & religious codes and standards. So,it is not disbelief that is dangerous to the world, it is Blind Faith!

Marcus Aurelius(Roman Emperor 161–180 CE), speaking on Stoic philosophy espoused the following
1. Live a good life.
2. If there is DIVINE justice, then it will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by.
3. If afterlife is unjust, then you should not want to worship them.
3. If there is no Afterlife or Divinity, then also you will be gone, but you will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones and the ones that you helped & served

Sonia Gandhi DNA
Here is a piece of news that could make Scamgress mongers happy. Congress President Sonia Gandhi is the 12th richest political leader in the world, says a report in Huffington Post World.
With $2 billion wealth, Gandhi is even richer than, hold your breath, Elizabeth II, the Queen of England and Bashar Al-Assad, President of Syria.
The list includes kings, presidents, sultans and queens with most rich leaders among the top 20 originating from the Middle East region.
To  arrive at the list, HuffPost compared each country's GDP per capita juxtaposed with a leader's personal net worth. It notes that this was to "show how different life is for the haves and have-nots."
India's GDP per capita is $1,500, while Sonia Gandhi is worth $2 billion.
So, who does the Indian Congress leader beat in the rich leaders' list?
There is Albert II, Prince of Monaco who is worth $1 billion. Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman is next on the list, worth $700 million and Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of Equatorial Guinea is worth $600 mn. Bashar Al-Assad, President of Syria is 16th on the list with riches worth $550 million while his country's GDP per capita is $3,000.
But the most surprising fact is that Elizabeth II, Queen of England ranks much lower than Gandhi in the list with riches worth $400 million to $500 million.
For Gandhi, this is nothing new. Her wealth has always been a subject of intense spec

There is no extremism in Dharma
by Vasudevan Raghavan on Jan 03, 2014 02:05 AM  | Hide replies

Let this lady speak for herself and her abrahamic faith. Hindu Sanatana Dharma has not extremism and we Hindus are in fact victims of the extremism of the abrahamic faiths. Let us beware of such sweeping statements that tar the Sanatana Dharma also with the same black brush that the other religions so richly deserve.
