In his case it was USA that did everything possible to destroy space research and later nuclear weapons programme. n the Marxist Soviet Union helped India by all means in both cases. However, CPIM is different; they are pro-Chinese.
Life in India is so difficult if you get into a mistaken identity of Govt officials or Law enforcement agencies. Top of that the Politicians make a mockery of the situation. There are multiple examples I know seen and experienced happening around me.
All the Good guys would have just silently stood and watched innocent Nambi framed in this. The problem in our country is BAD ones keep talking and GOOD keep silence. Thus only BAD ones are heard...
