Influence of industrialists
by S S on Mar 03, 2014 12:13 PM

Is it practicable for any Government to work in ignorance to the interest of industry. Industry works for making of profits and during the process generates employment, creates goods and services for use by public and provides revenue to Government in form of taxes. The Government has to ensure that an environment conducive to industrial growth is provided, though, I do agree that certain malpractices creep in but I am sure that those malpractices are more for benefit of politicians than industrialist, the industrialist gets only his fair share, it is the malafide gains of politicians that are nurtured with those malpractices.

by vadivudaiselvi on Mar 02, 2014 11:22 PM

Now It is the golden chance for the govt to cancell teh KG Basin contract and earn good name from public, other wise the credit will goto Judicial body, any way it is sure teh mega loot Contract will cancelled shortly.beacuse of ample proof against the loot is proved evidently by the eminent pple. There is enough precedent to cancell the contract like the spectrum licence cancellation, coal blocks cancellation,in this case even judiciary is verymuch hesitating to act swiftly because of poilitical and muscle power by the corporates.really feel pitty of the indian publics

Secial treatment to Ambanees or Subrato Roy
by Radhakrishna billakurthy on Mar 01, 2014 12:48 PM

It is open and accepted by all Indians that the persons who are richest will be treated separately.
Recent examples are Sanjay Dutt's parole & Subrata Roy's arrest and keeping him a GH after arrest with out sending him to jail.

Licking the feet of Corporates.
by sasidharan on Feb 26, 2014 04:04 PM

Allmost all politicians except a very few licks the feet of corporates,to get their own share . The vast natural resources of this country is freely given to corporates and people are looted. The present democratic set up is not up to our expectation and we must opt for a presidential form in place of the parliamentary one. Then we can avoid these wretched political fools to a great extent. One man in the FM ,calls an opposition leader"Impotent",another one in HM declares war against medias and want to crush people's voices. These men seems to have lost self control, as they come to the reality of complete routing in the next election due to their own bad deeds.

"India is a nation of knaves"..........

...............Lord Mackaulay

He has been and is being repeatedly proved true.

The tendency to steal runs in Indian blood....more than in the blood of most other peoples.

No other reason why Indian commoners (even literate middle class ones) stand aside and applaud big time thieves!

Govt of Sania
by c subramaniam on Feb 25, 2014 05:47 PM  | Hide replies

Govt of Sania, Govt of Raul and Govt of Ambanis.
It is prevailing now. UPA is not A govt of the people, for the people and by the people. Before election they beg and after election they kick the Indians. How can they raise the gas price from 4.2 to 8.4 USD.
