This is not an 'alternative' view. This is the view of every religious fundamentalist or extremist who wants to ban and pulp books (and people) with differing viewpoints.

This has got nothing to do with religion its her own personal feelings portrayed on a soft target because she is afraid of people like you else she would push this on you too.

In the name of modernism, Marxism, liberalism, westernization classics are usually relegated to museums and excessive market oriented dynamics are allowed to hold sway. But this is not how civilization is supposed to work. We need to have classical values as part of our daily lives with reflection, introspection, scrutiny and gradual change wherever and whenever needed. This would be a sensible way to keep a sense of reverence towards things which work.
