BJP should not support the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh
by Ramanarao Kallepally on Feb 09, 2014 04:24 PM

When the Telangana State issue will be raised in both of Houses of Parliament, peoples' aspirations and enthusiasm is on the BJP only, most of the people of Andhra Pradesh are not interested for the bifurcation of the state into pieces, this is the gimmick played by some of the political parties for their self interest only. If BJP supports for Telangana Bill in both the houses, in future there will not be a single MP will be elected from this region (from Rayalaseema and Andhra), therefore, keeping in view of the political image, they (BJP) straight away reject for the bill and save the Andhra Pradesh to be united. The BJP should recall that the atrocities played by the Corrupt Congress (CC) in the center while passing the Lokpal Bill they are claiming that this bill was passed due to the CC party only - without the support of BJP how this bill could pass - it is the clear evident the BJP role was crucial for passing the Lokpal Bill in Parliament in both the houses. Similarly, in the Telangana State also, BJP should stubburn and see that Rayalaseema and Andhra people should not be persecution.

every one knows that KCR had KK on his side who talks to congress high command every day on cell. His cell phone number confirms that he spoke for at least ten times on 7th feb.
KCR has confirmed his willingness for merger of his party with congress in today' meeting with diggy rajah. Diggy has clearly indicated to KCR in his meeting that KK's victory was ensured by congress by encouraging cross voting and that KCR should now confirm the merger of his party with congress. one close aid of congress present in the meeting confirmed that TRS will merge with congress but it is essential to do so later after 21st February as it is essential to keep BJP guessing.
Now it is left to BJP to decide what it wants to. If BJP joins congress in bifurcation game, samaikhyavadies in both regions will route out that party in both the regions as well as in parts of Karnataka. MIM is already wooing seema andhrites and they plus muslims will make up more that 35% in telangana region and more than 50 % in hyderabad . BJP leaders from telangana region is misleading its leadership in delhi as if BJP can manage with out seema Andhra support.
In this confusion, let BJP decide what it wants. But seema andhrite MPs along with other parties will disrupt the parliament. If they get ditched by BJP, those MPS will go with third front tilting the balance in favor of third front in 2014 polls

opposing T bill is not opposin telengana statehood.
by gogineni on Feb 08, 2014 08:19 PM

has anyone of media read the T bill. If anybody read the bill they will understand the gross injustice done to seemandhra people. No clear cut provisions for water and electricity sharing and also no capital. Is there anywhere in the world the capital of astate is outside the state .also revenue sharing & debt sharing is also lopsided. major revenue is garnered by telengana & major debt is born by seemandhra. majority of debt is used for development of telengana. No party which wants justice support this T bill. Just opposing this bill does not make one opposing telengana statehood. So stop projecting wrongly that opposing this bill as opponent of telengana.

Congress Needs to be decimated
by Dinesh addanki on Feb 08, 2014 05:45 PM

Congress wants the bill to be one sided completely as they wanted complete 17 seats and they want to cheat seemandhra fully so that they would be frustated and vote for jagan party. Congress will take support form TRS and jagan party post elections. Useless congress needs to be decimated once for all. Today it is happening for AP. Tommorrow it can happen to any other state if congress sees political benefits. Be watchful and dont vote for congress

Telangana
by MS Chandrashekar on Feb 08, 2014 12:04 PM

BJP stands for smaller states for better governance and administration so that the pace of development can be increased. They successfully formed three states without an iota of protests from anywhere and to the satisfaction of all the parties. It requires statesmen leaders to solve national problems amicably. On the other hand congress with the narrow political interests of gaining TRS merger and thereby hopes to win 17 loksabha seats from Telangana as they have lost out to Jagan Reddy and TDP in Seemandhra region. BJP though principally support formation of smaller states, in this case they should take a stand that they would not support the Telangana Bill as Congress has failed to consult them totally on the details of Telangana and also failed to satisfy the people of all the regions of AP.They should warn TRS that they won't support the them since they have decided to merge with congress.Narendra Modi has both wisdom and statesmanship to amicably solve this problem to the satisfaction of all if he becomes the PM. Hence BJP should form an alliance with jagan reddy and TDP and oppose division of state at this juncture as Congress has failed to satisfy all sections pf people of AP.Once BJP/NDA gets power, I am sure Narendra Modi would be able to convince the people of AP for an amicable solution. BJP at any cost should not support Telangana Bill at this Juncture

resided in Hyderabad during 2009-2011 period when Telangana agitation was it's peak.Often office where forced to shut down ,trains canceled ,fight btw police and agitators.I feel BJP shld just support and settle this matter once for all.
Other wise it's big headache for them even if they form govt at the center.
As far as seats for them r concerned TRS won't merge into congress and can be easily attracted by Biscuits

So u suggest everyone to stop the trains and flights to get their demands cleared even though they are selfish and unjustifiable? Is this a strategy for illegal activities too?
