Secularisim is costing dearly to majority Hindus. If the parties like, Congress, JD(S), JD (U), SP, BSP, NCP are to be reigned in, there is an immediate need to amend the Constitution to withdraw universal adult franchise. Sooner or later Assam is going to be in the hands of mullas. If we have to stop India falling into the hands of muslims, voting powers of minorities has to be withdrawn with immediate effect and this religion has to be kept under constant check if need be, militarily. there has to be substantial change in its policies towards minorities.

Reservation
by arungopal agarwal on Feb 11, 2014 05:41 PM

Our democracy is prejudiced and biased, ruling parties always divided India into castes, region etc.,only for their vote bank, no one has cared for needy and deprived one even in reserved class, as such even in deprived class-all position are snatched by so called SWARANS of that class. What a joke of our system? Great.

It is high time,an Emerging and aspirational economy like India, which is globaliy connected should now do away with social subsidies quotas and reservations based on caste, community, religion and class and should lay emphasis on empowerment and emancipation thru Meritocracy and Competence.

Resevation must be based on poverty based
by aam admi on Feb 10, 2014 10:34 AM

make a line for poverty and provide reservation, even if govt. don't want to change present system one must draw a line of poverty to provide reservation even among SC/ST, OBCs. This will help the society much more than the present system of reservation where a few families in every Caste of SC/ST and OBCs have made their monopoly and rest of the people are left unattended.

POst-lection dilemma or Congess
by Subramaniam narayan on Feb 09, 2014 01:22 PM  | Hide replies

The rebellion by senior leaders is simmering under the lid. It will be more fun to watch the no-holds-barred war between the young Prime Minister and the old guards, in case the Congress comes to power.
We will be guinea pigs in this; that we have been all along.

No Old guard. All are corrupt. What new or youth wing in Congress is 100% dynastic children. It is quite laughable when Congress workers talk about youth. For them Youth meant son/daughter of existing leader. Indira was called Youth Icon, followed by Rajiv Gandhi and now Rahul Gandhi.
