Rahul - a true leader
by Deepak Sridharan on Feb 06, 2014 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

Rahul is a true leader and speaks his heart and lives for the poor and downtrodden. He does not pretend like some people who aspire to be the prime minister(BJP)

His party should assign him a greater role

A real chai wallah is pretending a a person born with silver spoon who goes to one poor person's house with full media is sincere? What a wonderful logic!

Observer
It was well rehearse interview, but failed performance
by Observer on Feb 05, 2014 11:13 PM

My belief is that Rahul Gandhi was well trained and well rehearsed for the TV interview, Arnab Goswami himself being the part of his dressing team. So in the TV interview AG was asking him predetermined questions and RG was supposed to give predetermined answers. But Rahul Gandhi, true to his real abilities, failed to recall well rehearsed answers, and instead kept on repeating whatever he could recall- only 3-4 buzz words he learned over 10 years.

On the comparison between 19-84 and 20-02 riots, Rahul Gandhi was supposed make some some crucial point (of course predetermined by his media managers). I think that is why AG tried hard and made several attempts that Rahul Gandhi bring this point in his response. But unfortunately.....RG couldn't remember the predetermined response and kept on talking nonsense which brought him into further soup.

Why Congress is losing
by Voxpopuli on Feb 05, 2014 04:36 PM  | Hide replies

1 Service Tax concept taken to extremes and frivolously extended
2 TDS - Most business don't have 10 % margins yet taxes are deducted and refunds delayed and not paid till CAs and ITOS are bribed
3 Paperwork and form / returns filling takes up most of the time of any business enterprise.
4 Poor Roads
5 Poor Power situation
6 Education cess fleecing without any difference
7 Corruption of bureaucrats and politicians
8 Ostentatious like style of politicians and bureaucrats
9 Fake price fixing of petroleum products without any transparency
10 Proliferation of taxes - 57 at last count
Price rise is not the reason ..everybody knows prices have increased all over the world and farm producers need to get their input costs back.

To sum up it is bad governance for 60 years. How did SoniaGandhi become the richest woman in the world in such a short span of 10 yrs. Its time to use the power of vote and choose the right man for PM. Use ur vote wisely or we might get a moronPMfor5yrs

Inferiority Complex
by VijaySagar on Feb 05, 2014 03:52 PM  | Hide replies

Most of my friends who say that Rahul gandhi will make an ideal PM do not have any reason to support their statement. I have noticed that the only reason they want him to be PM is because he is European looking, and therefore brings 'glamour' to politics. When i ask them what he can do for the country they have no answer. I am no BJP supporter, but in todays circumstances i would prefer Modi for PM as he has so far shown aggressiveness and an inclination to change the existing system. He may be a religious Bigot or a homophobe which is unfortunate, but India today needs a man who can take decisions and get back her Self Respect.

Absolutely right. This is what I have been reacting through this media. Both internally and externally we as a nation lost the credibility and value. Our educated youths are getting frustrated due to unemployment, the economy is in disaster, law and order in disarray, corruption and scams are at peak, inflation is at peak, price rice is uncontrollable, development is Zero and where are we heading - no clue..... Let us not see which political party is going to rule, but let us bring Mr Modi in the name of BJP and try to save our nation and the youths. Rahul Gandhi says he is going to empower youths.. In what way... His government is not able to make a base for employment and development and in that scenario what does he mean empowerment?

MEDIA TRAIL IS FAKE.
by sudhakar sk on Feb 05, 2014 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

RSS, SanghParivar and BJP has
pumped in so much money to ever
starved Media Moghuls of India
to discount all that
INC(Indian National Congress) say or
does.

In reality, our media is doing biggest blunder, the way it did post emergency-denouncing Congress for everything; resulting Mrs.Indira Gandhi, rode back to power with in three years.

Thus our media's of promoting fake news of
Star Fakuchand-MKS Narendra Modi of BJP's candidate
and
Jaduwala of Delhi(Kejriwala) is
not in good taste for
the World's biggest kicking
Democracy.

I can't believe that after seeing so many UPA scams, large scale corruption, inflation, worst state of economy, people still support Congress. It's time for a change to send a strong message to all political parties that non-performance, corruption etc will not be tolerated. Wake up man..

Hollow promises
by SREEKUMAR SREEKUMAR on Feb 05, 2014 02:35 PM  | Hide replies

For the past 65 years, Congress has been giving hollow promises and whenever the elections are nearby they used to do some sort of quick fix activities. A section of people become fools on these promises and commitments through which congress comes to power. Till 2004 they had only one slogan "garbi hatao". In 2009 60000 Crores of farmers loans were written off. In fact huge chunk of this written off loans pertains to congress men. Whose money was this? The hard earned money of tax payers wasted. During the last two years congress has announced various schemes, has anybody in Government has got the figures as to how many people got benefited? All welfare schemes are gimmicks and in the name welfare schemes huge money is looted. What more, check in any ration shop, nothing is available. Where are these huge quantity of food grains getting vanished? Why suddenly Adhaaar has become non relevant for LPG? Why LPG was increased from 6 to 9 and 9 to 12? Only to fool around with the people to get vote? We need a strong and development oriented government so that employments are generated and stop all these welfare schemes and divert the money for development. So we need a strong government and strong PM. In the current scenario, Mr Modi can save the nation.

lots of migrant workers from different states flock to guj for jobs and it is these migrants in search of better prospects who add up to these numbers. However they all get food in Guj and not in their respective states.
