The writer needs to re-check on what were the triggers. First trigger was obviously the babri incident, and the media which repeated played out the demolition Second trigger was protesting Muslim mobs getting violent. The third trigger was then the manner in which the above mentioned violent mobs were mishandled by the police. After this ShivSena also jumped in and incited violent mobs. the death toll is quite logical. When a large group clashes with a small group, death toll is likely to be higher in the smaller group, because of outnumbering and more instances of people from smaller group being cornered.

the terms Minority/Majority r relative to a person or persons position at the time of birth. if u r born in a rich, powerful and previlaged family u r a above law. this is true irrespective of which communal u belong to.
Riots took place in 1984, rally conducted in 2007 and an article uploaded by Rediff in 2014-an election year. If we r going to history then letus go back to All Panipat Wars, death of Maharana Pratap, Prithwiraj Cjauhan, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Raja Ramdevrai, Mopla Massacare, all the incidents. Then only u can proove that this is a balance act.
