We probably have not seen the worst ... 2014-2019 would probably see a new low, with everyone asking for his/her pound of flesh for supporting the coalition ... corruption will be rampant, for none will risk critical support by asking for investigations

MP should have work mandate
by Subahsis Sarkar on Feb 04, 2014 06:29 PM  | Hide replies

If every employee have mandate to work certain period of time. Why is not true for MP? They are also providing service for general public. If any one taking excessive leave then they should be laid off. We are electing MP as our reprensentitive so our view majority say stand in the parliament. Instead they enjoying their time as an MP. Seems they got 5 year long honeymoon.

15TH LOK SABHA A TOTAL WASTE OF PUBLIC MONEY
by Raman Arun on Feb 04, 2014 06:06 PM

To say it was a failure would be an understatement. The sheer joke played on the voters was a tragedy by itself,as the old adage goes YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. The next Lok sabha should refrain from walkouts and boycotts. When we can ape all things western why dont we follow their conduct in Parliament/Senate the way they speak and argue,I doubt there would have any walkouts there in the near past. Our lawmakers feel they are a law onto themselves and the public 'lowly creatures' to be addressed/pampered once in 5 years.PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTES, THROW OUT THE DECAY AND ENSURE GOOD PEOPLE ARE ELECTED
