It appears that there is alobby active to color this law and order issues due to local goondaism as racist attcks. Perhaps some leaders are feeding these words to the victims to meet their political objectives and create disharmony nad other related issues.

Delhi is one of the best place, how racist comments are passed, unable to understand, never come across with such situation, may be in some special society in Delhi or joke is taken seriously.

How can you say that Delhi is one of the best places, when it has the sobriquet of 'rape capital'.

The incidents of the commonwealth games , december 16 rape incident, are all fresh in peoples minds.

Governance and policing are quite inadequate in delhi, even by Indian standards.

stray cases in a population of 1.5 crore may not be ruled out, it does not mean that Delhi is a crime capital.
There is a need to make it Greater Delhi by way of merging Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad in Dehi itself so that better administration is done.

In the year 1973 while staying at Manipur's Ambassador Hotel. I was gheroaed by few local persons who were racially descriminated in North. knowing that I belong to Lucknow. They narrated their stories in the Dining Room, of the hotel and looked revengeful. They were describing the stories of the insult they had to face in main land. Any how I was rescued by the intervention of Hotel management and one of the person among them who had studied at the Hewett Polytechnic of my city Lucknow. In punishment I had to sing few songs of their choice to save my self.

I fully condemn the anti socials who r responsible for the barbaric incident n request all right thinking Indians to do the same.Besides, the police inaction needs to be condemned.I request all leaders of various political parties to put pressure on Delhi's corrupt police to arrest the people behind the problem n protect the Students staying in Delhi.

is not the case of NE or South or West. Goons r every where. People from South or NE are there who receive lots of respect and viceversa. Look at our great madam from Italy, she hates any other than congy. and RG who says he has more threat from Hindus in India!
We actually need our education to be made as serving the society then proms will be solved.
These goons treat people from their own region like that then issue is different.

Sorry to say this - ill-informed sections in most of the North-Indian cities make fun and look with prejudice not only people from North-East but also from South. When do they learn certain facts of life? There are a lot of people from North East in South Indian cities, but I have not seen joking at them and making their life insecure generally. When India is a large country where people have freedom to move and live in any part of the country, such prejudices harm a lot to the integrity. A lot of effort is needed on the part of Central Govt to give wide publicity about our different languages, cultures, etc., and severe punishment to be meted out to those who cause to make such troubles.
