Vajpayee declared election before the term becoz he was forced to do that..
He was thrown out of the Govt.. and later got House Arrest and vanished from the Political System.

golden qudraple to improve india's infrstructure, Sarva siksha abiyaan to provide quality education to all,neuclear test at pokran which made whole world to turn their views about Indians inteligence and will, look east policy to take eastern countries along with us simultaneously maintaining western friendship, foundation research to link all rivers, telecommunication revolution, consolidating highest foreign reserve and paying part of India's debut etc etc are unique contribution of Vajpayee to India. Let the great leader atalji live long to inspire more patriots with this bharath rathna award.

1. "Sarva siksha abiyaan" was a Campaign similar to "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" of Modi.. but did his Sarva Siksha Abhiyan materialised?? No.. but Privatisation of Schools made the quality education system made majority deprived.
2. Nuclear Test was mainly to challenge Pakistan which got bounced back when Pakistan did the similar test in reply to India. This test led to many "sanctions" from the World and made India to see in speciousness.
Looking East policy made India's economy pathetic.. India is run by Chinese products and we do not find Indian product.
Rest Infrastructure Development, Telecommunication were part of Globalisation.
Behind these campaign he surrendered India's Economy to SEZ and surrendered Port to Global Conglomerate. He failed in Security front.. Kargil War and Parliament Attack along with Gujarat Riots is in his baggage.
