Need not tell Modi
by Rohan Shir on Dec 24, 2014 09:03 AM  | Hide replies

No body should tell Modi what to do. He knows best. Many articles have appeared in rediff portal telling Fin min and Pm what to do. They can just suggest.

Re: Why Modi needs to take a correct call
by Krishna Suresh on Dec 24, 2014 09:00 AM

From where does Rediff find such dumb articles I wonder.
Voters in general and those in Kashmir know very well their interests. They don't want BJP with a majority for fear of losing their special status but they know supporting BJP will be in their best interest for getting BJP in the J&K cabinet can force the Centre to part with more grants and maximum entitltements. Also majority BJP government will prompt more deadly attacks by Pak supported groups. So the people have wisely decided to have BJP with them but keep they short of forming Government of its own.

Bjp should insist on its own CM
by ashish tiwari on Dec 24, 2014 07:55 AM

It got maximum number of votes but less seats because even though population of Jammu is higher secular Congress has ensured seats in Jammu remain lesser than valley! Shame on secularism.

sheela you shame
by Anil Kumar on Dec 24, 2014 06:51 AM  | Hide replies

Sheela is saying pdp and nc should access the damage by going with saffron party. She is thinking or try to fool people by saying as if pdp and nc are the most secular parties. They are most communal and anti-national as they support separatism. Plus she is saying as if it is a crime to have a hindu cm for muslim majority. What about Rajasekhar Reddy, abdul kalam, ar antulay, anwara taimur, ar antony, mohammed koya. To be on lighter side even mamata banerjee they were cm or held position for a majority hindu country. Shame on u sheela for practising divide and rule, vote bank politics even by media. Shame shame.

An armchair secular journalist trying to advise politicians on how to form alliances is surely the joke of the year!

Sheela is trying hard to break into politics herself & hence we see these pseudo-secular articles from her all the time.

I won't be surprised if she run for AAP or Congress next time.

Islamo Apologist at it again
by Venkat on Dec 24, 2014 03:16 AM

The author seems to be suggesting in her conclusions that BJP should not push for a chief minister from Jammu region. Madam, Kashmir valley controlled administration does not devolve powers to Jammu /Ladakh and does not develop them. That has been the case for the past 60 years. This has to be fixed and the BJP will do everything in its power to ensure that Jammu and Ladakh's development are NOT stopped by Valley based parties.
