I adore Him.
by Ahi Sen on Jan 13, 2015 02:04 PM

I have developed a habit of reading books authored by Mr. Ruskin Bond. I did not know that he attends a Book shop on Saturdays, had I known I would have definitely met him. Wish Mr. Bond write many more books and enrich Indian culture by his refreshing thoughts.

Met Mr. Bond
by Pradeep Kumar on Dec 23, 2014 02:46 PM

Early this year, I met Mr. Bond at his idyllic residence & that is one of my best experiences. He was slightly under the weather, but he still indulged my presence & my questions. As a writer he is a constant work in progress.

Amazing Bonding With Children......A Beautiful Writer.....
by rishi on Dec 22, 2014 09:18 PM

and A GREAT PERSON that Ruskin Bond is .....always a very pleasant, calm and receptive to awe-struck children who have met him over the decades .....if only for an autograph that speaks of the affection he lavishes at children always. A respectable and honourable person in the world of children's literature as much as he is a pride of Mussoorrie.

We need to celberate and talk of each writer...and enjoy the great celebrated writing heritage which captures many things questions beautifully!

English translations may help too...we need all year regular writer festivals..where questions related to each writer should be discussed...though paper...seminars..radio tV etc!

Can we have such start in Bengal and else to add to the rich festive spirit?

We get all strength from them...other real worlds when you read them?

Excellent Writer. India must be proud that we have good people. We need more writers who can also show the world that India has talent in English literature too.

A Beautiful Piece
by Adi Mehta on Dec 22, 2014 03:46 PM

Got to know so much about Ruskin Bond the man, through this piece. It made very soothing reading, so very natural, and yet so finely nuanced. I wish Mr Bond many more years and many more stories.

Ruskin Bond

He is a very affable person with a strong bond with India. However, one wonders if he would have been heard of at all if he was not living in India.
