Goa as per this map is third highest in literacy rate. But these same literate people do not get jobs in their own state only the migrants from comparatively low literacy rate area get jobs in Goa. Hence the goan youth are forced to leave Goa and move abroad for a better living.

There are over 25 lakh domestic migrant labourers in Kerala today with an annual arrival rate of 2.35 lakhs. Does this influence literacy rate too?

'cause the literates knows that just inking of your index finger is waste of ink and dirtying your finger. Illiterates are still dreaming that Raja, Kalmadi and Lallu types will bring the loot back and enrich them. Even the big looter Sahara chief has now AC rooms to stay in Tihar jail.

It is good at one hand that country is becoming literate and there is a significant progress towards 100% literacy but on the other hand it is creating an army of unemployed educated people who have spent good amount on their educational degrees and are looking for suitable job but country is not able to provide them. It will lead to an unrest among the educated people. Government should think seriously about the unemployment problems among the educated youth.

Nothing will work until Indian government apply one child policy strictly just like chinese government. In India only price and population are increasing.

Thanks to the nature of Indian languages it is possible to eradicate illiteracy from the entire Indian sub-Continent, which accounts for 45% world's illiteracy problem, in just 30 to 60 days/hours. Above 80% literate Kerala took 6 months to achieve total literacy. As long as ignorant intellectuals and intellectual idiots are manning both at national level[Adult Education Authorities] and at international level at UNESCO total literacy can't be achieved in all the third world countries, in the near future.

Is not it clear that Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujrat and Tamilnadu are most literate states as per the given map. Why is the author trying to fool the readers by using "growth rate" stats?

Yes, I do agree with you. It is not the correct way to depict the literacy rate.
