India~Russia relationship went down for two Singhs. Jaswant Singh and MM Singh. Jaswant Singh in 1996 gave away $10 billion to his old master the British to supply Jet trainers, and wasted all the money. the British gave only a few trainer and refused to transfer the technology, thus, after so many years IAF is trying to Swiss Jet Trainer at a very high cost ignoring both Russian and our own HAL 8 with Russian transferred technology. MM Singh gave away $20 billion to France for Rafael just because the wife of then French President Sarkozy was an Italian and a friend of Sonia Gandhi. There will be no technology transfer. India purchased $38 Billions worth of military aircraft from USA, with no technology transfer. India also spends possibly another $30 Billion on civilian aircraft.
All these could be purchased from Russia with technology transfer and at a much lower cost.
Thus, India looks like a very ungrateful country. I wonder when Russia will refuse to help India regarding Space, missile, Rocket, and nuclear fields. If it does, no one should be surprised.
We Indian dont forget, in 1971 War, when American navy Fighter ships reached in India Ocean against India, that time Russian has send his fighter Ships for helping to India, We can not forget its. We are always thankful to Russia. I Salute to Russian People & his Govt, that is only one work had done very all congress govt to keep very good relation with RUSSIA, so I hope BJP is also it will keep.

Any day Russia is a dependable partner. They were with us during difficult times. Let us not bother about their business with Pakistan. Others also do that.
russia should seek india's help in finding a way to end the western sanctions. the indian management gurus surely can help achieve it if they can be organized into a good team for the purpose. this would really be a spectacular success for india, and its seat at the security council will be beyond doubt. germany too is eager for the sanctions to end. the the two countries can get it done if they can think creatively.
