That is a poor indication of your understanding of Army modus operandi. Officers LEAD from the front. I am unsure if you recall that nearly eighteen percent casualties in Kargil conflict were of those you accuse irresponsibly to 'Drinking Looting etc' (Sic). Please realize that army performs what clearly are miracles, due as much to leadership as the valor of those they lead.
Threat to many as any spy can watch movement of indian navy from one of the high rising floors of Adarsh which needs to be destroyed in the interest of national security
Army is hexed between media and govt and public,any excess they are tried.none but our jawans and military officers become victim either in the hands of enemy or public in Kasmir this dilutes the spirit of our armed forces. where as Pakistan doesn't care such incidents.Always defends its action. The army pakistan is free to hit any target with ought any botheration. Our pseudo politicians who favor pakistan make runt than Pakistan.Unless we defend the action of the army the very initiation will die
Unknowingly, the media is harming Army, Security forces, Police etc by exposing the strategies taken by them to fight the infiltrators, traitors and wrong doers. The media should be sensible to this point and restrict the exposure to the minimum possible so that it does not harm the planning and execution especially by the Army and security forces. In fact it should encourage people of the country to support these agencies.
Much like rest of Indian Government departments ,The Indian Army too is a decaying force.Army at time of Indira Gandhi and Army that Modi has are different in terms of ability and quality .This force has been decaying over past two decades .Government of India makes tall Rhetoric about Army but fact of the matter is that Indian Army is a depleted force as congress has meticulously over past two decades .Indian Army is being pinned deep inside the Indian territory and in their own den by these Trained Fidayeens and they are unable to defend themselves .
Their Core Commanders apologise for no good reasons under pressure from the Government and paid Indian Media like NDTV ,Times Now ,CNN IBN etc for doing their job .
This force is Quantity and not quality .They always say the kashmir is a treacherous place to defend, the place they have been defending since Independence .Shame on the Core Commanders,ThinkTank , Governments and in particular the Bureaucrats of this Country .
Agreed that social media is playing havoc with the spirit of the Indian Army by publishing half cooked stories, this can be easily tackled by the army by giving the correct details in the social media. this will curtail the rumors from spreading. A terrorist attack is the right of the nation to know the truth, this is a attack on the nation and not only on the army,hence army should remove their shyness and come out boldly in the social media. Lt Col Shukla died fighting the terrorist valiantly a super hero but first report gave a impression that they died as sitting duck.Nobody paid attention to the the killed militants, hence I will tell the Army to wake up and be proactive. The incident at Anantnag is a sheer example of over reacting by the Army Cdr, He should have given this statement only after inquiry is over. Gen public excl Kashmir took it as a election gimmick which may be true. Tell me what can a soldier on duty do if in spite of the warning to stop and the trespasser does not stop. He has been told to take action which he took. It is sad that some innocent boys got killed.remember its a very tough job for the army to distinguish between a militant and the innocent civilian, cos militants also pose and dress up like civilians till they start firing and kill our soldiers. I can assure you that Indian Army is not trigger happy and is most sacrificial,they are the ones who have put Kashmir in shape and the massive voter turnout is an indication.
