You shd understand that the choice is based on online voting. Obviously anyone who wins large scale in 1.2 bilion India, and especially with such a targeted and systematic social media presence, ought to get the maximum votes here too. So this poll doesnt really reflect 'world recognition'.

Online voting is not confined to India. It is worldwide. So who is stopping his detractors from voting. The problem is the detractors are in a minority (pun intended).
