india a place of social activism

India is a fertile ground for social activism. Of course some of them are genuine but some of them just to support the career of an activist. Many of the developed countries have been using nuclear energy to enhance development. With proper safety measures nuclear energy is as safe as riding on an airplane.

The Modi govt should ignore these activists and go in a big way for Nuclear power. In France, 70% of its power is produced by Nuclear plants. So is the case of Japan. With adequate safeguards put in, Nuclear power can solve our Power Problem. In India these activists representing various interests have become a nuisance.

In our city when the Corporation wants to clear the Footpaths of Vendors, there is a big hue and cry from activists taking money from the vendors.

Nuclear power is safe may be for a century or two. But certainly not desirable in any way. Because any nuclear mishaap is greatest ever denjer to planet earth and human species. HAVING SAID THIS, Noa NGO OR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE IS DOING ANY PROJECT OR PROGRAMME OR ACTIVITY FOR THE SAKE OF HUMAN GOOD OT NATION GOOD. NOTE THIS. WORKED WITH A HYDERABAD BASED SOCIAL ENTERPRISE GROUP. THE INSEDE ACTIVITIES ARE SO UNIMAGINABLE. OUT OF 1000 998 sOCIAL ENTERPRISES OR NGOS ARE OF THIS KIND. SO NO SURPRISE IF SOME NGO DID WHAT IT DID REGARDING URANIUM MINING OR NUCLEAR DEAL ETC.

Japan is currently having a bad time in so far as nuclear power is concerned. But there are indications that they may overcome the problems.

Silence?
by Hayat on Dec 01, 2014 02:25 PM

But why were these questions scoffed when MMS was making them? When Anna Hazardous and Baba Rum De were making merry destabilizing an elected govt.? And where is the media and why is it not asking the same questions about Lokpal and Black money as vociferously as it was asking back then? Why the silence?
