Invite some Indian social activists for the challenge..
by Kanu Singh on Aug 24, 2014 04:31 AM

Pour iced water on them, many will praise you that you are doing it for good cause, and you got guts.

After you had enough with praises, just say, ‘What ice bucket challenge? Today is Holi, on first April!’

Afterward most will start lecturing you about, how irresponsible waste of water and people time you are doing, due to some religious superstition.

Just Giving
by Jack Daniels on Aug 22, 2014 03:12 PM

In the west, people do organize a lot of events like running a marathon, sky diving or some challenging task to raise money for Children, Patients and Research. A lot of trusts and users are registered under this site JustGiving. A person participating in an event will update it there and anyone who wants to support him will deposit money to the persons just giving account which goes to Charity he is raising for directly.

Problem with Indians now is, we inferior people always feel that we are inferior to the west (and west never cares about Indians ) and always want to do whatever they do to satisfy our internal ego that even we are like them. We never strive for our own identity.

When we try to copy the act and not the cause we look more like m0r0n$ than civilised.
