Just Giving
by Jack Daniels on Aug 22, 2014 03:12 PM

In the west, people do organize a lot of events like running a marathon, sky diving or some challenging task to raise money for Children, Patients and Research. A lot of trusts and users are registered under this site JustGiving. A person participating in an event will update it there and anyone who wants to support him will deposit money to the persons just giving account which goes to Charity he is raising for directly.

Problem with Indians now is, we inferior people always feel that we are inferior to the west (and west never cares about Indians ) and always want to do whatever they do to satisfy our internal ego that even we are like them. We never strive for our own identity.

When we try to copy the act and not the cause we look more like m0r0n$ than civilised.

this is the problem

with this western mind set. to donate or give charity dramas are not necessary. every individual must donate from what he feels is goin to go unused for a long time. in india we have a system called a-pari-grahanam i.e taking only what you need and leaving the rest for the others to enjoy ( logic being the hunger or thirst you experience to common to all beings). this thought if executed will lead to nil hoarding and everyone will have enough to eat

first you do and them comment on others about paris-grahanam. you are hiding 1000 Rs. wads at home and not eligible to comment. They are not getting publicity but just creating awareness

it is not paris -grahanam or berlin grahanam. it is a-pari-grahanam ie taking only what you require. and why should i hoard cash in my house when i have banks to safekeep my cash ,which means that every rupee in it is accounted for. incidentally the results of the so called awareness creation is already showing results. what i was saying was to donate you do not need publicity (before or after). just donate and forget. that is the indian system.
