Sunaad Raghuram's article captures the two masters & their lives aptly, to the last line, "All because two young boys began to wake up at 4 in the morning in a little town called Mysore in India, 12,000 miles across the Atlantic some 80 years ago. To learn yoga!"
one among the smart tamils played importatant role in building temples all over south india and around the world they played important roles tamil kings who built temples to maintain art and cculture
The article - very interesting and informative - is about 2 great yogis. Comparison of old Mysore and present one is not correct/acceptable in this context . No doubt late Jois and Iyengar have contributed to spread of yoga culture ijternationally. Let us pray for their souls.
Legends of Mysore who made Mysore-Karnataka and India Proud.
Hats off to them by popularizing Yoga to the World.
Rediff nice article about somebody who has done so much to the world on Yoga. U guys have to write on people who contribute and make the World and India a better place....especially our own people so that more and more people can read, learn and transform their life.

They are following their traditions....so what's racist in it. A muslim will wear a topi and will have beard....a Sikh will have turban...so as per u they are racist?? U are born in modern india and not in ancient india and hence u dont understand culture..
Before that u guys cant to anything in life and will leave this world like that. No one will take ur reviews seriously...mind u language Amit Kumar.
A well-written article in a long time on rediff. It was informative, well-balanced and painted a poignant picture of two remarkable individuals who contributed immensely to the betterment of people around the world. Thank you Sunaad Raghuram and keep up the good work.
